for readers
We hope you'll find something you enjoy or otherwise benefit from reading here. We also hope, and, in fact, depend on the possibility that you won't just leave it at that. Return to the author's page and supply feedback through an email or, better yet, make a contribution (modest or otherwise) to the author. And if you like the shareWORDproject, and would like to see it continue and grow please click the support button below to make a donation. for authors
The shareWORDproject is NOT an e-zine or on-line literary journal. It IS a do-it-yourself on-line story telling circle. We encourage you to come and tell your tales or say your piece and see what your readers think. We seek to give you and your potential readers direct access to each other without the third party intermediary of a publishing house. Reader feedback is strictly by either email or donations made directly to the author. When you create an author account you can supply links to a personal web page (it can be a myspace, facebook or other web page, but we do screen links for inappropriate content) your email address (required and verified) and a contribution link (PayPal recommended) to allow readers to donate to you. We ask for minimal information about you and most of it is optional but we do require a valid email address, but, while we supply an email link to enable reader feedback, we don't expose the actual address on the authors page. Authors also have access to a download log for each title. You should know that, by creating an author account and submitting content you accept the fact that this is a mediated site: submitted publications are not edited, but are screened before being approved for publication. Anything we consider unacceptable (if the modifier "gratuitous" applies, whatever it modifies, we will probably consider it unacceptable) is removed from the site and the author is informed. We reserve the right to decline to publish content we consider hateful, misogynist, homophobic or obscene (we're not opposed to genuine eroticism) -- by submitting content you agree to accept our judgement in matters of acceptability. Other than establishing and enforcing these minimal "out of bounds" rules we do not exercise an editorial perogative. Otherwise, we neither accept nor reject content and you, as the author, are solely responsible for the quality and craft of your works. Authors are encouraged (but not required) to publish here under Creative Commons licensing.for everyone
While this is a mediated site and submitted publications are not edited, but but are screened for what we consider to be inappropriate content before being approved for publication, authors are completely responsible for the opinions expressed in and the quality and craft of their content.
